Shocking CCTV footage of man punched while in headlock in Queensland

A Brisbane teen has been hospitalised overnight with suspected head injuries after reportedly being held in a headlock and repeatedly punched at a cab rank.
The incident occurred in Fortitude Valley at the Ann St taxi rank at around 2am Thursday morning and involved two groups of men.
Police report the 19-teen-year-old victim was forcibly held in a headlock by one man and repeatedly punched in the head by a second man.

The accused a 21-year-old New Farm resident has been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm and faced Magistrates Court today where he was refused bail.
Police are searching for a second man involved in the assault who can be seen in the CCTV footage.
It is believed the victim, a 19-year-old Hamilton resident lost consciousness and was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for treatment.

He has since been released from hospital.
Police investigations are continuing and they are appealing for member of the public who may have witnessed the incident to come forward with any information.
