New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is planning to remake the Hollywood cult series Breaking Bad and might cast himself in the lead role of Walter White.
According to a report, the process to get the rights for remakes is underway.
Recently, Raees star revealed to a leading publication that he plans to bring the iconic and one of the highest rated television series of all time, Breaking Bad, to the Indian shores.
However,
Shah Rukh thinks that Indian television is still not ready to accept
the story involving meth, drugs and the mafia, reported a leading daily.
But according to him, they will accept the award-winning series in a
movie form.

"The story of a man who is going to die and takes a chance to save his family is a good premise for a feature film," said the Dilwale star.The 50-year-old actor believes that he is at the age when it will be interesting to take up the roles like of Walter White of Breaking Bad.
Breaking Bad is about a meek chemistry teacher who learns that he is suffering from advanced stage of leukemia. To protect his family from financial crisis after his death, he turns to cooking meth with the help of a former student and junkie. However, getting into drug business puts him into several morally ambiguous situations, as he realises there is no way out of this!
